Photograph of a turn of the century general store with Post Office. Five men, one on a horse drawn delivery wagon, and three women are shown in front of the store and post office. Operated by the Van Pelts, the original store was moved from Will Greer's farm Ross Township in 1900 to Yorkville and a Post Office was soon added. Ownership of the business by 1972 were: Edward Townsend, George Bietry, Mrs. E. Stafford, Merton Phillips, Carl Reese, Carl Hamilton and F.L. Hamilton.

Color postcard of the Gull Lake Country Club on Gull Lake near Richland, Michigan. Published by Ward C. Morgan, Kalamazoo. The second Gull Lake Country Club was constructed in 1924, replacing the original one that burned in 1922. Razed in 1978 it was replaced with a $100,000 club house in 1979.
