From September 17th to the 20th of 1964, Walt Disney visited west Michigan and his friend Donald Gilmore, then president of the Upjohn Pharmaceutical Company and founder of the Gilmore Car Museum. Photographer Douglas Lyttle documented the visit. Images from the Walt Disney Collection, held in the archives of the Gilmore Car Museum, Hickory Corners, Michigan. Contact the Gilmore Research Library and Archives for more information. Made possible by the Collaborative Library Services grant program through the Library of Michigan, funded (in part) with a Library Services and Technology Act grant from the Institute of Museum and Library Services.
