Warner Blacksmith Shop at 8143 N. 32nd
Description
Photograph of a dilapidated blacksmith shop. The blacksmith shop had been operated by a Mr. Warner and Mr. Solomon. It was purchased for $700 by Reverend Henry Bonnema and converted into a church. Completed in 1940 it held services as the Cavalry Community Church, Richland.

Description
Black-and-white photograph of the Theodore Roosevelt Steamship at South Haven, Michigan (built 1906 in Ohio). View shows passengers standing on all three decks, decorative flags flying from masts, and steam from the both stacks. Text on the ship reads: "Chicago Roosevelt Steamship Company." Photograph was taken from the harbor catwalk by Chester B. Robinson. From approximately 1927 to 1934, the steamship was owned Chicago Roosevelt Steamship Co. of Delaware who ran the ship as an excursion vessel from Chicago to South Haven, Michigan. According to the Historical Association of South Haven, it was 289 feet long -- too long to turn around and so it had be to towed out of the harbor.

According to the Kalamazoo Gazette (June 28, 1935), Clarence Schrier was a member of Theta Kappa Psi Medical Fraternity in 1934 while he was attending University of Michigan Medical College.
