Black-and-white photograph of YMCA building on the southeast corner of West Michigan Avenue and South Park Street. Photograph taken on March 18, 1941 during construction of addition to the building. Two vehicles are parked in front with a behind behind each. To the far left of the picture, is the corner of the First Baptist Church. A sign on the front of the YMCA building reads: “Y.M.C.A. Building Stewart-Kingston Co, Architects and engineers; Miller-Davis Co Builders; C. L. Mahoney, plumbing and heating; Geo. Sanderson, electrical work; Miller Lumber Co.” The date is written on the lower left corner of the photograph.
