The postcard has a picture of the field altar at Bad Orb, along with the text “Truppenübungsplatz Orb Wegscheide, Feldaltar.” Pommer addresses his sister and asks about the new year. He writes about he will be marching the next day. He asks for Lydia to share the package he sent with everyone.
