Letter from Martin Pommer and Ernst Pommer to their brother musketeer Paul Pommer addressed to Martin Pommer in Glogau, Poland. Postmarked Frankfurt, May 31, 1918. The letter is written in two sections, the first by his brother Ernst, the second by his brother Martin. In the first letter, Ernst mentions that his family signed an appeal, asking for Pommer to be sent to a hospital near Frankfurt. He includes what Pommer's father wrote in the letter. Ernst feels that this letter will not do much to change the situation. Since he will also be in school for engineering, there is not much he can do. In the second letter, Martin asks about Pommer's situation in the hospital. After speaking to a sergeant, Martin admits there must be a logical reason for Pommer being kept so far away. He expresses his family's hopes that things will go well. Everyone in Frankfurt is doing well too. He sends greetings from Ernst, their mother, and father.
