Letter from Lydia Pommer to her brother musketeer Paul Pommer in Brussels, Belgium. Postmarked April 25, 1918, Offenbach am Main, Germany. Lydia was excited to receive Pommer's long letter and postcard. She had not heard from Pommer since the 18th of March, which concerned her. She thanks God that Pommer is alive. She describes her day, going to Seckbach midday with Martha, meeting with the youth organization and Herr Wuerkes, who likewise expresses his concern for how Pommer is doing. On Easter Monday, she was with Frieda and Emilie Schnorr. They are doing well, as is Anna. She mentions the good weather and that Herrn Wuerker was inducted possibly into the youth organization. She talked briefly to Fraulein Heissbach, reading Pommer's letter aloud to her. In conclusion, Lydia mentions that it is late and they have evening guests. She sends her best wishes and hopes to see Pommer soon.
