Description:
Example of a detailed chromolithograph using a large number of colors to represent the original art work (watercolor painting). It is interesting to note that the shading in many areas is made up of two tones of the same color, one reason such a large number of colors was required. The image is of a plate located prior to section II, of A color notation. "Published by: Wadsworth, Howland & Co., Incorporated. Boston, Mass.: Copyrighted, 1908".
