According to a Kalamazoo Gazette article dated September 8, 1939, page 13, the Upjohn school was located on the Parkwood school grounds and provided facilities and treatment for young people with disabilities. The photograph was taken for Bailey, Prihoda and Company in Kalamazoo, Michigan.
