A photograph of a mare seen from the side and wearing a horse manure and urine collector, commonly referred to as a "nappy" or "diaper". The bag was possibly used to collect samples for the production of Upjohn's pharmaceuticals. The tool is known by a variety of other names including a bun-bag, bum-bag, equidae excrement receptacle, poop catcher, potty bag, poop bag, equine manure tool, horse manure bag and others. In the background are buildings on Upjohn's Richland Farm (also known as Upjohn Research Farm). The photograph was taken for William McGraw and Company, Michigan.
