Photograph of Edward Earl Somerville, born 1894 Cass City, Michigan; died 1983 Kalamazoo, Michigan. Edward Earl Somerville farmed in Doster and Cressy, Michigan before moving to Richland, Michigan where he became a plumbing and electrical contractor. While residing in Richland, Michigan he served on the Richland Board of Review, acted as a Constable Building Inspector and was an active collector of antique phones.

Illustrated postcard depicting the W.K. Kellogg Bird Sanctuary. Genuine Curteich- C.t. Art Colortone Postcard. Text on the back: "About the shores of Wintergreen Lake lies the domain of the W.K. Kellogg Bird Sanctuary, where hundreds of wild birds find refuge, food and resting sites. In the center foreground are the building of the sanctuary, including the home of the director, pheasant pend, upland bird and waterfowl pens and houses.
