Kellogg Foundation deeded this land on Gull Lake, Michigan to Michigan State College and in 1959 construction commensed on the J.W. Stack Research Building. Handwritten text on front: "Classroom at Kellogg Biological Station, Gull Lake." Text on back: "J.W. Stack Research and Classroom Building at Kellogg Gull Lake Laboratories on beautiful Gull Lake.
