Group portrait of Cutting Department employees from the Kalamazoo Pant Company. Men, who are wearing long shirts and ties, stand in front of tables and cutting equipment. Top left of photograph has been torn away. Handwritting in the lower right reads: “Cutting Dept Kalamazoo Pant Co Kalamazoo Mich Shepardson Photo 12-28-23”. Kalamazoo Pant Company began in 1867 when Samuel Rosenbaum opened a wholesale notions and dry good store. In 1870 he began to manufacture shirts and overalls, changing to just trousers for men and boys.
