Postcard from musketeer Paul Pommer, addressed to the family of Gust. (Gustav) Pommer in Frankfurt, Germany. Letter dated November 24, postmarked Darmstadt, Übungsplatz, November 25, 1916. The postcard features an illustration of two German cavalrymen in the battlefield. Below this image the poem "Reiterlied" written by Theodor Körner. In his message, Pommer briefly mentions that he should be available on Sunday to be visited by his family and that he gets out of the barracks at 3.
