The card shows three photographs of buildings in Friedberg being used as temporary barracks. Text: "FRIEDBERG i. HESSEN, Helmholt'sche Gut, jetzt vorübergehend Kaserne des III. Bat. 5. Großh. Hess. Inf. - Reg. 168, 10., 11. u. 12. Komp." Pommer writes that this will be the last letter he will write to them from the homeland, as he will be sent off to the front very soon.
