Description:
|
Letter from musketeer Paul Pommer addressed to the family of Gust. (Gustav) Pommer in Frankfurt, Germany. Postmarked Glogau, June 8, 1918. Pommer thanks his brother Martin for his letter that he received in Brussels. He finally received the package sent from the 31st, and a letter from Lydia. He now has plenty to read. In the letter before, Martin described a vacation their family took, which brought back a lot of good memories for Pommer. He feels as though he lives in the monk-like quarters of the hospital. With a stressful Sunday approaching for his family, Pommer wishes that he could be there to help. He concludes with his heartfelt greetings.
