Description:
A leaf from a Gradual containing text within musical notation. The text starts with Kyrie is followed by the Gloria of the Ordinary Mass. Paleographic evidence suggests the leaf comes from a manuscript that was probably written in the first half of the fifteenth century in Italy.
Provenance:
Possibly loaned to the WMU library school through Jean Lowrie from the Gethsemani Abbey Library of Kentucky in 1974. Now permanently held by Special Collections, Waldo Library.
