Black-and-white photograph showing the back and left side of a mare wearing a horse manure and urine collector and harness, commonly referred to as a "nappy" or "diaper". The bag was possibly used to collect samples for the production of Upjohn's pharmaceuticals. The tool is known by a variety of other names including a bun-bag, bum-bag, equidae excrement receptacle, poop catcher, potty bag, poop bag, equine manure tool, horse manure bag and others. View includes a man holding the lead rope. In the background are buildings on Upjohn's Richland Farm (also known as Upjohn Research Farm). The photograph was taken for William McGraw and Company, Michigan.
