The display features a world map with pins over various locations. From the pins, streamers connect to a corresponding doll on the table below the map. The event was reported in the Kalamazoo Gazette on November 8, 1943, page 8: Talitha Gerlach, staff member of the foreign division of the national board of the YWCA addressed 200 local women in Kalamazoo, Michigan, for the annual World Fellowship observance, a program that featured the international aspects of the YWCA. Special music for the program was provided by the Greek Girl's choir and the African American Girls' Chorus. The photograph was taken for Ann Smith and the YWCA.
