Portrait of Mary Jane Hambleton, winner of the Paper Princess pageant, with a man and woman at a train station, possibly in Battle Creek. The Paper Princess pageant was part of the National Kalamazoo Paper Festival in Kalamazoo, Michigan. The winner would be awarded a four day trip to the New York World Fair. The proceeds of the festival were to be given to 500 children to attend Pretty Lake Vacation Camp.
