Description:
Three boys dressed in costumes and playacting. The photograph was taken for Barbour Hall and Sister Theresa. View shows one boy dressed in pirate costume standing, and two other boys in suits. Barbour Hall was a school for boys that was founded in 1902 by Monsignor Francis O'Brien. In 1941 a modified military program was incorporated into the daily routine and the name of the school became Barbour Hall Junior Military School. The school closed following the 1978-1979 academic year. Sister Theresa and Sister Michel were members of the Congregation of St. Joseph who worked with the Academy's administration to educate the boys.
