Description Exterior view of Administration building facing Davis Street, Western Michigan University and featuring portico, columns, and ballustrate in Georgian Revival style. View of peony beds and main entrance features the center of the building and training school. Designed by Battle Creek architect, Ernest W. Arnold, East Hall was WMU's first building (erected when it was still Western State Normal School) and used until the 1950s. It was also known as the Education Building and by 1967 as East Hall. In July 2015, it was renamed again as Heritage Hall, the home of the WMU Alumni Center.
